Hey friends! Fall is showing off right now, and this weekend is full of good reasons to get out in Brunswick, Medina, Valley City, and Hinckley. I checked what is happening Friday through Sunday so you can plan a few great days. Here is your weekend roundup.

Brunswick & Brunswick Hills

Superhero Weekend at Pumpkin Village at Mapleside Farms is the headliner, running all weekend at 294 Pearl Road in Brunswick. Friday, October 9, runs noon to 9 PM, Saturday, October 10, runs 11 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday, October 11, runs 11 AM to 6 PM. It is superhero themed, so bring the capes and costumes, and every fall favorite is in full swing: the giant corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and the 311-foot Super Slide.

Vino the Way returns to Mapleside Friday and Saturday evenings, October 9 and 10. The wine-and-beer walk winds through the orchard and a themed corn maze, and it runs through Halloween. A fun date night with the leaves turning.

A Taste of Summer Farm Market at 360 Pearl Road is open Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Fresh sweet corn, tomatoes, local honey, and handcrafted goods while the season lasts. Thinking about making this area home? Explore the complete Brunswick & Brunswick Hills community guide for the schools, parks, and real estate market.

Medina

The final Medina Square Farmers Market of the season is Saturday, October 10, from 9 AM to 1 PM at Public Square. More than 70 vendors bring peak-season produce, artisan cheeses, flowers, and baked goods one last time, right alongside Salute to Farming, which adds a petting zoo, beekeeping and cooking demos, antique farm equipment, and farming artifacts. A great morning to wander the square.

The Fall Foliage Tour is Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, from noon to 5 PM. The Medina County Park District has hosted this drive-it-yourself tour since 1968, winding past farms, agribusinesses, historical societies, and special events. Perfect weather for it this weekend.

Medina Restaurant Week wraps up Sunday, October 11. It has been running since Friday, October 2, so this is your last chance to try seasonal menus at the local independent restaurants around Uptown Medina and the square.

Valley City

Valley City's own calendar is quiet this weekend, and that is part of its charm. Mill Stream Park on the Rocky River is lovely for a fall walk any day of the weekend. Save the date: the Liverpool Depot Museum's next open house is Sunday, October 25, from 1 to 4 PM at 6615 Center Road.

Hinckley

The Practical Magic Energy Fair is Saturday, October 10, at 10 AM at the Backyard Apothecary Vintage Gift Shop in Hinckley. It is a quirky, free stop for a weekend wander if you are out exploring.

Otherwise, the trails around Hinckley Lake and up at Whipp's Ledges are gorgeous right now as the leaves peak. Pack a lunch and make an afternoon of it.

Whatever you get into, enjoy the weekend. And if one of these communities has you thinking about a move, I would love to help you find the perfect place to call home. I've got you.
