Things to Do in Brunswick & Brunswick Hills, Ohio

Some places you drive through. Others you want to stay in. Brunswick and Brunswick Hills are the kind of place where a quick errand turns into a walk around the lake, and a simple evening out can become a favorite habit. Whether you're new to the area, thinking about making the move, or just looking for something to do this weekend, this guide is a good place to start.

I'm Lisa Nickel, a REALTOR® with eXp Realty who has called Brunswick Hills home since 2005. I've written this guide the way I'd tell a friend who's visiting: here's where to get outside, where to eat and drink, what to do when the weather turns, and which traditions are worth planning around.

A Brunswick Landmark Since 1927

Mapleside Farms

If Brunswick has a heart, it's Mapleside. The farm has been part of this community since 1927, when the Eyssen family began farming the land, and it has grown into a year-round gathering place at 294 Pearl Road.

Summer brings Concerts Over the Valley on the Sunset Stage, with bands playing Friday evenings against a wide view of the valley. Fall means Pumpkin Village, hayrides, and the Johnny Appleseed Festival, a longtime local tradition that draws families from across Northeast Ohio. And the Social House, opened in recent years, gives the farm a cozy indoor spot for food, drinks, and events no matter the season.

Mapleside is the kind of place where you go for one thing and stay for three. It captures what this community feels like.

For more on the Social House specifically, I wrote about it on the blog.
