Hey friends! Halloween lands on Saturday this year, and the whole weekend is packed across Brunswick, Medina County, and Southwest Cuyahoga County. I checked what is happening Friday through Sunday so you can plan a great few days. Here is your weekend roundup.

Brunswick & Brunswick Hills

Pumpkin Village at Mapleside Farms closes its season with Spooky Fest this weekend. Friday, October 30, runs 4 to 9 PM and Saturday, October 31, runs 11 AM to 9 PM at 294 Pearl Road in Brunswick. Costumes are encouraged, and the giant corn maze, hayrides, and the 311-foot Super Slide are all going strong, with regular hours Sunday, November 1, from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Vino the Way: Halloween Starts at 3 is the last wine-and-beer tasting through the corn maze of the season, with afternoon departures starting at 3 PM Saturday, October 31, at Mapleside Farms. A 21-plus date night with the maze all lit up.

Brunswick Trick-or-Treat is Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8 PM. That is the city's official time, so grab a bucket and hit the sidewalks.

Medina County

Halloween on the Farm at Majestic Meadows Alpacas is Friday, October 30, at 4195 Abbeyville Road in Medina. Daytime hours are family friendly, and after dark the farm adds fog, lights, and spooky characters, with trick-or-treating, a Haunted Barn Maze, and farm animals all day.

Medina Trick-or-Treat is Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8 PM around the city. Stock up on candy and get ready for the little ghouls.

Valley City Firefighters Halloween Parade and Costume Contest steps off Saturday, October 31, at 6:30 PM from the Depot at 6615 Center Road and finishes at the fire station on Center Road, where the winners are announced.

Valley City Trick-or-Treat is Saturday, October 31, from 6:30 to 8 PM, and the Liverpool Depot Museum holds an open house the same hours at 6615 Center Road.

Hinckley has no confirmed community event this weekend, but the trails around Hinckley Lake and up at Whipp's Ledges are lovely for a Halloween-morning walk before the evening fun.

Southwest Cuyahoga County & Nearby

Strongsville Halloween Storytime and Costume Parade is Friday, October 30, from 11 to 11:45 AM at the Strongsville Library, 18700 Westwood Drive. Little ones wear costumes for stories and a parade.

Strongsville Halloween Scavenger Hunt and Fun Run starts Saturday, October 31, at 9 AM at Town Center Park, 18300 Zverina Lane. A costumed way to kick off Halloween morning.

Trick-or-Treat in Southwest Cuyahoga is Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8 PM in Strongsville, Parma, Parma Heights, Middleburg Heights, Berea, and Brook Park. All six communities ring doorbells the same evening, so plan your route.

The CarnEVIL on Greystone is a big home haunt in Brook Park running Friday and Saturday, October 30 and 31, from 8 to 10:30 PM. It is free to walk by and a favorite stop for older kids and grown-ups.

Whatever you get into, enjoy the Halloween weekend. And if one of these communities has you thinking about a move, I would love to help you find the perfect place to call home. I've got you.
