Hey friends! Fall colors are at their peak and this weekend is packed with good reasons to get out in Brunswick, Valley City, Medina, and Hinckley. I checked what is happening Friday through Sunday so you can plan a few great days. Here is your weekend roundup.

Brunswick & Brunswick Hills

The Great Pumpkin Fest at Mapleside Farms is the weekend headliner, running Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM to 9 PM and Sunday, October 18, from 11 AM to 6 PM at 294 Pearl Road in Brunswick. It celebrates the famous Pumpkin Wall and all things pumpkin, with the full Pumpkin Village lineup: the giant corn maze, hayrides, pig trains, and pumpkin picking across more than 100 acres. Friday, October 16, is a fall Fun Friday at the farm, a lighter-crowd chance to catch the maze and patch before the weekend rush.

Brunswick High School Homecoming is Saturday, October 17. The Homecoming Bear Fair kicks off at 11 AM at Burke Field House, and the Homecoming Dance follows at 7 PM at Dann Gym. Come cheer on the home team and celebrate the school community.

Halloween Trivia Night is Saturday, October 17, at 7 PM at 1255 North Carpenter Road in Brunswick. Test your spooky-season knowledge with a fun night of Halloween-themed trivia, a great low-key way to cap off the day.

The Wizard of Oz plays Friday, October 16, at the Cassidy Theater in Brunswick. A live production of the classic is a sweet family outing for the weekend.

Medina

Medina Cars & Coffee rolls into Uptown Medina on Sunday, October 18, for the final one of the season. Grab a coffee and walk among classic and exotic cars for a relaxed morning around the square.

Spring Grove Arboretum Walk is Saturday, October 17, from 2 to 4 PM at Spring Grove Cemetery, 785 East Washington Street in Medina. A guided arborist tour starts at 2 PM, with self-guided tours and a scavenger hunt running until 4 PM. A gorgeous way to enjoy the autumn trees.

Valley City

Valley City's own calendar is quiet this weekend, and that is part of its charm. Mill Stream Park on the Rocky River is lovely for a fall walk any day of the weekend. Save the date: the Liverpool Depot Museum's next open house is Sunday, October 25, from 1 to 4 PM at 6615 Center Road.

Hinckley

There is no confirmed festival on the Hinckley calendar this weekend, but the Hinckley Reservation is always open. The trails around Hinckley Lake and up at Whipp's Ledges are gorgeous right now as the leaves peak. Pack a lunch and make an afternoon of it. And save the date: Hinckley Halloween is Saturday, October 24, from 4 to 6 PM, with trick-or-treating at Hinckley Preparatory Academy and the downtown sidewalks.

Whatever you get into, enjoy the weekend. And if one of these communities has you thinking about a move, I would love to help you find the perfect place to call home. I've got you.
